Pollution Control Board certificate for shopping malls
business properties include residential and business office buildings, as well as shopping centers. In general, "commercial property" refers to the structures that house companies, but it also includes land that is used to make money and sizable residential rental properties. The designation of a building as a commercial property may have different financial, taxation, and legal repercussions.
Commercial Property Types
Five kinds of commercial real estate are typically distinguished:
Office structures are included in this category, which also includes single-tenant homes, modestly sized professional offices, skyscrapers in downtown areas, and everything in between.
b) Retail Stores/Restaurants - These can be single-tenant retail buildings, small neighborhood shopping centers, bigger centers with grocery store anchor tenants, etc. Pad sites on highway frontages also fall under this category.
Apartment complexes or high-rise apartment structures fall under the category of "multifamily."
d) Land - This category includes investment assets on undeveloped, unprocessed, rural land with potential for future development, as well as infill land adjacent to an urban region, pad sites, and other things.
e) Industrial - Included in this group are distribution centers, sizable R&D facilities, cold storage facilities, and warehouses.
f) Miscellaneous - This group would include any additional non-residential buildings, such as lodging, hospitality, healthcare, and self-storage facilities, among others.
