When toxic and heavy materials are not properly processed and disposed of, the precious metal plating procedure causes pollution of the air and water, thereby contaminating the ecosystem. Metal plating is classified as a Red business activity by the Central Pollution Control Board, which means that it produces a lot of air, water, or both kinds of pollution.



In accordance with the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act of 1974 and subsequently for the purposes of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act of 1981, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) was established as a Statutory Organization in September 1974.



To obtain the Consent to Establish (CTE) Certificate, the company owner must submit an application to the State Pollution Control Board. The building, equipment, etc., could be put after the CTE Certificate is obtained.
